You will need:

Two 12"x25" piece of fabric. They can be different or same design depending on your taste as long as they blend well together.
Thread to match. It's easier to do it on a sewing machine, but it can be done by hand as well Scissors.
Small square of Velcro or snaps.

Now that you've got all your supplies, it's really easy to put your nappy wallet together.

Put your fabric rectangles one on top of the other with the patterned parts facing in toward each other. Sew around three sides of the border, leaving one of the short sides open.
Turn the fabric rectangle inside out so that the pattern is facing out.
Fold the edges in on the side that you haven't sewn yet.
To have a nice even border that now matches the other three sides, sew all the edges.
Next assume a landscape portrait and lay the fabric out with the longer sides along the top and the bottom.
If you are using two different kinds of fabric, put the side that you want to show on the outside, facing down.
Fold the sides in toward the middle, leaving about an inch in the middle. This will give you two flaps folded over that are approximately 5.5 inches wide.
Sew along the outside border of your fabric. This will leave you with a square that has two pockets that are each approximately 5"x11".
